Our Community
As a proudly local company we are committed to the local community here in West Norfolk.
Every year Watlington Drains lends its support to local people and organisations doing amazing things in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk – we’ll keep you updated about what we’re doing here.
Supporting our Customers
We’ve just donated these two amazing food hampers to Pilgrim Pride Food Factory, one of our lovely customers, for their Christmas raffle. Merry Christmas!
Christmas Gift Bags
This year we have donated lots of goodies to The Purfleet Trust; 75 men’s toiletry sets, 25 women’s toiletry sets, 60 pairs of socks and 100 bars of chocolate. These will be made up into Christmas gift bags which will be given out to people who might not otherwise receive any presents this year. The Purfleet Trust provides help for single homeless people in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.
Helping ‘House to Home’
Watlington Drain Renovations are proud to be one of the sponsors of the new van for the Purfleet Trust. The van helps to collect furniture items that people no longer want and wish to donate to the Purfleet’s House to Home Scheme. This scheme aims to help homeless people get into their own accommodation and, with the help of the Purfleet, kit the accommodation out. The van is essential for helping people with their move.
Easter Eggs for Purfleet
This year we are donating 100 easter eggs to the Purfleet Trust to hand out to their clients for a special treat.
Supporting the Purfleet Trust
The Purfleet Trust provides help for single homeless people in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk. Later this year it will be putting on a Christmas party in their Health and Wellbeing Centre for homeless people and people in need, around 100 guests will attend. Everyone gets a Christmas lunch and the Trust puts on entertainment. They also like to try and give everyone a small Christmas present. Watlington Drain Renovations has purchased 100 toiletry gift sets and donated them to the Purfleet Trust so they can give everyone a present.
